Hi, welcome to the Firm Foundation Trading Course. I am Dr. Patrick Oben(Medical Doctor).

Let’s begin with a question.

As for me, I always dreamed of making extra money without having to work more hours at my job. And when I first ventured into trading, I made a startling $30,000 in three days using options—as a novice trader, out of pure luck. You read that right: in three days, I made $30,000!

I was in disbelief, but I found out that making money from the financial market from the comfort of my home was a reality. Still, I soon discovered another fact as I became part of the statistics of traders who lost everything. In the weeks following that initial illusion of success, I later lost my profit, and as you probably imagine, I also lost my initial trading capital.

However, I refused to quit trading and investing because of one primary reason—I had seen, out of my own experience, that trading and investing present a unique opportunity to make and grow my money. After my start-up success and catastrophic losses, I  spent the following 3 to 4 years studying the stock market with the same zeal and diligence as I studied medicine in medical school and residency training. My library swelled up with books on trading, and there is hardly any major online course on trading I did not take, ranging from a hundred to thousands of dollars.

After these years of trading  and meticulous studying  of the stock markets, my conclusions were  not as complex as I thought they would be. However, they harbor the simple keys to unlocking the mystery of trading.

• The financial market is a game with rules different from other disciplines such as the sciences including medicine my primary profession), law, economics, and business, etc. 
• The Stock market( and all markets that followed it) is an astonishing blend of human financial genius, human control of others, and human weakness
• Public traders like you and me lose money not because trading is more complex to understand than our primary professions or careers but because our human nature is stubborn. It does not like to keep simple rules consistently. Furthermore, we are surprisingly prone to be induced to do the wrong thing through our emotions.
• Trading is not for everyone, just as business is not for everyone. It demands a specific frame of mind and attitude, and you are either born with those or invest in yourself to develop them.
• I did not have to read as extensively as I did or spend thousands of dollars in different trading courses to be a successful trader. Suprisingly, a super-abundance of information is the cause of the downfall of many traders.
• Trading is a skill that can be learned. But blessed is the man or woman who stumbles on the right education early on in their trading endeavors.  
• When the right people learn the right rules of the game, acquire the right skills, and develop the right frame of mind, a successful trader is born.

3. Firm Foundation is also not based on some magic indicator(s). If you are looking for a winning strategy that uses a secret indication or combination of them, this Course is not for you.
4. Finally, Firm Foundation is not a system of trading that we have invented. It is primarily based on trading methods that are well known. We teach you how to use these effectively and make money by trading. At the core is the Elliot Wave Principle, which you can study for yourself.
